Description Changelog

Description

Prequel is a photo and video editing app for Android that has long established itself on the phones of bloggers, photographers, and anyone who takes visual content seriously. The editor focuses on the aesthetics of film, retro, and the 2000s - and pulls it off convincingly. There's a version with a premium mod available here, unlocking the full set of tools without restrictions.

Prequel Features

The filter library boasts over 200 options: the Wes Anderson palette, shades of blue, sepia, black-and-white and vintage variants, plus film, VHS, lomography, and VFX effect imitations. Manual adjustment tools let you work with sharpness, blur, HDR, halftones, and saturation - and all of this is available with literally a single tap. As for text and stickers, users have access to more than 200 fonts, over 60 textures, and more than 250 stickers, including animated ones. The version with Premium mod removes restrictions on the use of paid presets and effects.

Editing Capabilities

It's worth mentioning retouching separately: the tools work with both face and body, and can be applied to any type of content - photos, videos, and Reels. Batch processing lets you apply a single filter or preset to multiple shots at once, saving time when managing social media. Ready-made Reels templates and the ability to save your own presets help maintain a consistent style throughout your feed.

Who Prequel Is For

The app is primarily designed for those who regularly post content on Instagram, TikTok, or other platforms and want to do it quickly, without switching between multiple editors. Fans of retro aesthetics and film-style visuals will find exactly what they're looking for here. Those accustomed to professional desktop tools and looking for deep manual editing might find the editor a bit simplified - but for a mobile format, its capabilities are more than sufficient. You can download Prequel for Android as an APK file from this page - installation takes less than a minute. The premium mod is already built into the build, no additional steps are required. The update is available for free. Note: using the modified version of the app may violate the service's terms of use. Install at your own risk.

What's new

Hi!
Fixed minor bugs - the editor works even more stably. Keep creating with Prequel!
