Description Changelog

Description

Level Devil, from the very first lines of its description, assures you that it's cute, calm and completely honest. Don't believe it. Behind this irony hides a hardcore game of skill: the floor disappears beneath your feet, and spikes grow exactly where the hero was about to jump. There's just one goal, reach the door. Sounds easy, but in reality it's much harder. The game is for those who love tough platformers and memes and know how to laugh at their own failures.

How Level Devil plays

The controls are elementary, though the developers mockingly call them designed for "very talented players." All the hero has is running, jumping and precise timing. Every level tests whether the player is willing to trust a platform that looks reliable, and how quickly they learn from mistakes. Traps trigger without warning. The first attempt almost always fails, but every next one feels like a small victory over the cunning designers.

What sets it apart from other platformers

The game's trump card is self-irony. The title flatly states there's no trolling, though everything is arranged exactly the opposite. Thanks to this presentation, endless deaths are more funny than infuriating. Many failures look so ridiculous that you want to forget them as soon as possible. And if suffering alone is boring, there's a local two-player mode: you can call a friend and struggle together on one device.

What awaits inside

There are over 240 short levels here, and each one is sprinkled with spikes, traps and other "friendly decorations." Visible dangers aren't the only thing there: secrets and surprises are hidden across the levels, so it's worth looking closely at each section. The short stages are convenient on a phone. You can clear a couple of levels on the go, or get stuck on one for half an hour. For those who want to test their reaction and patience, all that's left is to download Level Devil on android as an APK file and install the latest version for free. Just don't fall for the promises of a calm atmosphere.

What's new

We've added Endless Mode.
There's no final level.
There's no reason to keep going either.
But you'll keep going anyway.
Now you can rotate objects in the level editor.
New spikes, a one-way platform, and a coin.
As if you didn't have enough ways to annoy everyone.
