Please, Touch The Artwork is a quiet and unusual puzzle game for Android. There are no chips or dice here: you have to play with art itself. You restore paintings by applying lines and colors in a strictly defined order, wander through beautiful mazes, and help two lovers find their way to each other. The game was made solo by developer Thomas, and his touch is noticeable in every detail. It's for those who are tired of the hustle and want to quietly think under good music.
Rules that need to be figured out
The game will explain almost nothing in advance. The author himself admits: confusion at the start is normal, since half the pleasure lies in figuring out the logic yourself. So that this approach doesn't annoy you, there are hints: they come in handy when a solution stubbornly can't be found. There's no penalty for mistakes, and there's no timer, so you can think about each puzzle for as long as you like.
Three games under one cover
Inside there are three different modes and more than 160 levels. In one you recreate paintings, in another you gather the letters of a poem in mazes, and in the third you lead a loving couple toward each other. The stories turn out sometimes carefree, sometimes bittersweet, and between levels you'll come across fun facts about art. The unhurried pace is underscored by a relaxing jazz soundtrack. A full playthrough takes about 3-4 hours. There are no ads at all. A limited demo version is available for free, and the full game is purchased directly in the app.
