Description

Superliminal begins with insomnia. It's three in the morning, a cheap commercial for Dr. Pierce's dream therapy is playing on TV, and the protagonist falls asleep to it. He wakes up already in a dream, where perception becomes reality. This is a first-person puzzle game for Android, and it's entirely built on optical illusions. If you like challenges that break conventional logic, take a closer look at it.

How Superliminal plays

The main tool here is perspective. How big an object is depends on the angle and distance from which you look at it. An ordinary cube can become a convenient step, or it can grow into a giant wall. In reality, such puzzles are physically impossible to solve, so you have to think outside the box and constantly expect a twist.

What sets it apart from other puzzle games

There's no timer, no one is rushing you. The world is surprisingly calm, and you can wander around it as much as you like. The voice acting is intriguing and keeps the atmosphere going, and strange things turn up at every step, so you want to see the dream through to the end.

Terms and format

The first part is free, and during that time you can definitely tell if it's your style. The full version unlocks with a single in-app purchase, and there's no advertising in the game at all. Curious how easy it is to fool your own eyes? Download Superliminal for Android: download the APK file, install the game, and go through the free introduction to get a feel for its idea.
