Description
This Is the Police 2 is a noir strategy game with elements of turn-based tactics and detective investigations, set in the grim border town of Sharpwood. The game is designed for those who appreciate an atmospheric plot, moral dilemmas, and well-thought-out gameplay without superficial solutions. On Android, it's available in a version with a mod and Russian voiceover, which makes the immersion even more complete.
Features of This Is the Police 2
At the center of the story is young sheriff Lilly Reed, forced to cooperate with fugitive criminal Jack Boyd. Sharpwood is populated by smugglers, gangs, and corrupt politicians, and every decision made carries consequences that are hard to predict in advance. It's worth mentioning separately the department management: subordinates here aren't faceless units, but characters with their own weaknesses, fears, and prejudices. Some abuse alcohol, others openly ignore orders - and you'll have to find an approach to each one yourself. The available version with the mod includes Russian voiceover, which is a rarity for a mobile port of this level.
Modes and Features
When negotiations reach a dead end, the game switches to turn-based tactical combat mode. There are no usual health points here: one hit can take an officer out of action permanently, so the choice of position, route, and equipment determines the outcome of the operation. In parallel, detective investigations are conducted: gathering evidence, analyzing case materials, interrogating suspects, and searching for connections between persons involved. If there isn't enough evidence, the game subtly hints that Sharpwood's judges can perhaps also be persuaded - for a certain price. The project works without ads and supports tablets.
Who This Is the Police 2 Is For
The game is aimed at fans of strategy and tactical RPGs who care not only about gameplay but also about a story with character. It will appeal to those willing to figure out management systems, endure the consequences of mistakes, and don't expect simple answers to complex questions. Those looking for fast arcade action or multiplayer - this isn't the place for them.
You can download This Is the Police 2 for Android as an APK file with a mod and Russian voiceover - installation doesn't require Google Play. For those who have long been searching for a mobile strategy game with a real story, this is one of the few worthy options.
