Description Changelog

Description

Here we have the official survival RPG based on AMC's "The Walking Dead" series. You assemble a squad from heroes familiar from the show, build up a camp, and fight off walkers in recognizable locations. The game follows the series almost closely: what was shown on screen soon turns into new missions. The project has an Editor's Choice award and a rating of 4.5 stars. It will be interesting to play both for franchise fans and for those who simply love tactical battles.

How battles and squad development are structured

Rick and Carl from the first season, the Governor from the fourth, Alpha, Beta, Yumiko, and Princess from the latest ones: all of them can be taken into your team. Survivors need to be trained and leveled up, and brute force alone won't be enough here. In each new location, be it Hilltop or Alexandria, special zombies appear, and tried-and-true tactics against them suddenly stop working. The outcome of the fight depends seriously on who you took into your squad and how you act in battle.

How the game differs from other zombie RPGs

The main highlight here is seasonal missions. They appear every week along with new episodes of the series, so yesterday's episode can be relived again, this time with a controller in hand, or rather with a smartphone. The story doesn't end after the "Church" chapter, where you need to help Angie's child. In the "Last Stand" mode, it's tested how many waves of walkers the squad can withstand. There's also a separate character class, pets: for example, the tigress Shiva and a dog.

Camp, guilds, and modes

The camp serves as a base. Here you upgrade weapons, heal survivors after battles and PVP raids, and share resources and food. In a guild, you can team up with friends and fight opponents from all over the world. Besides this, the game has a storyline, "Distance," an outpost, and weekly challenges that give exclusive resources and new weapons. The Walking Dead No Man's Land for android is distributed for free: download the APK file of the current version and install it on your smartphone.
