Description
Always On Edge is an app for personalizing the lock screen on Android, which meets the needs of those who want to see notifications and useful information without unlocking their phone. It is especially popular among owners of devices without a built-in LED indicator: the program can imitate its behavior through illumination around the front camera or along the edges of the display.
Features of Always On Edge
The main thing that distinguishes this app from standard tools is deep customization for each individual app. The notification indicator can be set differently for messengers, mail, calls, and other services: you can change the color, flash style, intensity, and behavior. Edge lighting along the screen borders supports animated effects that activate on incoming calls, music playback, or device charging. A version with a PRO mod is available, which unlocks an extended set of styles and parameters without the limitations of the free version.
Lock screen customization options
The lock screen editor deserves special attention. Users can place any information on it: time, date, weather, or notifications from selected apps that will be displayed constantly. Animated wallpapers with live effects are supported as a background. The app is compatible with AOD (Always On Display) mode and can work both with it and without it - depending on user preference. There are options for repeating reminders, notification priority settings, and personalization for individual contacts.
Who is Always On Edge suitable for
The app is aimed at Android users who want to receive information from the lock screen without unnecessary gestures while making the interface visually expressive. It suits those who switched from a device with a physical LED indicator and miss that convenience, as well as those who simply enjoy customizing their phone to their liking. Beginners may need time to master all the settings - there are indeed a lot of options here.
You can download Always On Edge for android as an APK file for free. The version with the PRO mod unlocks all functionality without in-app purchases - this is a convenient option for those who want to get access to all features right away.
Warning: using the mod may violate the app's terms of use. Install at your own risk.
