Description
Pascal's Wager is a dark RPG action game for Android, set in a world where the sun has literally sunk to the bottom of the ocean. The continent has been engulfed by a black fog - the Sendrill, and the only source of light has become the Colossus, a mysterious being worshipped by the locals. The game is meant for those who aren't afraid to die multiple times on a single boss and for whom atmosphere matters more than just action for action's sake. Downloading Pascal's Wager on android is worth it for those who value dark lore, a well-crafted story, and honest difficulty without cheats by default.
Features of Pascal's Wager
The game is built around the story of Tarrant, an exiled courier, who sets out in search of the ailing Colossus while also searching for his missing wife Theresa. This isn't just a pretext for fights: the plot branches out through secondary characters, each with their own storyline, and all dialogues are fully voiced in English. The musical score was recorded with a symphony orchestra of European caliber, which noticeably sets the game apart from the mobile market. A version with a mod and DLC is available, unlocking additional content without the need for separate purchases.
Modes and features
You can play as one of four characters: each has their own set of skills and combat style, making replaying the game meaningful rather than just mechanical. The world is built as a three-dimensional multi-level map with hidden areas worth exploring separately - they hide lore details and useful items. There are ten types of enemies in the game, and battles with them - especially with bosses - require attention to attack patterns rather than just pressing buttons.
Who Pascal's Wager is suited for
The game will appeal to those familiar with the souls-like genre and who aren't annoyed by death as part of the gameplay. If you like Genshin Impact for its atmosphere but want more hardcore and less gacha - this is a fitting choice. Those looking for an easy and relaxed playthrough should pass this one by: Pascal's Wager doesn't forgive carelessness.
You can download the APK file directly from this page - no registration or additional conditions required. The version with the mod and DLC is also available for installation and doesn't require a separate patcher.
