Description
BiRD is a music player for Android that gives access to your entire VKontakte audio library right from your smartphone. The app is designed for those who want to listen to music from the social network without unnecessary restrictions: no timers, no forced ads between tracks, and no need to keep a browser open. It's suitable both for background playback on the go and for evening listening at home.
Features of BiRD - Music from VK
After logging in with your VKontakte account login and password, the main page opens with all your saved tracks - just tap any track to start playback. Offline mode allows you to download music to your device's storage and listen without an internet connection. Playlists can be created from scratch, edited, and filled with tracks from various sources. The built-in search bar finds the track you need by title or artist name - handy if your library is large.
It's worth mentioning the sleep timer separately: it automatically stops playback after a set time, which is especially useful for those who fall asleep to music. The app's settings let you customize the player's behavior to your liking.
Modes and Features
Besides your personal music library, BiRD also offers a section with friends' music - you can visit the profile of any contact from your list, browse their tracks, and add the ones you like to your own playlist. This is a convenient way to discover new music through your social circle, without having to search manually. The app also pulls tracks from VKontakte groups, the recommendations section, and the service's popular tracks chart - there are plenty of sources to grow your library.
Who BiRD - Music from VK is For
The app will primarily appeal to active VKontakte users who have accumulated a large music library on the social network and want to listen to it conveniently from their phone. It won't suit those looking for a streaming service with an independent catalog - BiRD works exclusively with VKontakte content and requires an account.
You can download BiRD - Music from VK for Android for free as an APK file. Installation takes a minute, after which your entire VKontakte music library is right at your fingertips in a convenient interface.
